G.U.S. stands for Guided Universal Source. It just so happens that it is also the name of my Beloved Furbaby, Gus, who is presently in spirit. Gus was a kitty that was so much a part of my life and taught me to live life in the moment. He transitioned in 2008 after a 5 year diagnosis of chronic kidney failure. He miraculously beat the odds on several occasions. I learned a lot from this kitty, but most of all, his illness persuaded me to intensify my path of learning alternative means to heal the body, mind and spirit for all creatures — two-legged and four-legged.

You see, we are not just physical beings… We have emotions and Spirit as well. Dis-ease and illnesses are seen in the spiritual level before they are even felt in the physical body. Preventative care of the body should always begin on the Spiritual level. This does not mean that everyone needs to run around and chant religious songs in order to heal on the spiritual level. As a matter of fact, it has nothing to do with any form of religion at all. It has to do with remaining true to your Spirit, your Soul, Yourself — and celebrating who you really are. It is important to cultivate your Spirit by living the life you were meant to live. This is not always an easy thing to do.
